Golden Gate Bridge
The Golden Gate Bridge is in San Fransisco, California. It is a suspension and truss arch bridge that spans approximately 4,200 ft. The Golden Gate Bridge is made entirely out of steel and was contructed on January 5, 1933 through April 19, 1937. Until 1964, this was the longest span bridge in the world. Another fun fact is that the government wanted to paint the bridge with yellow and black stripes and the first design of the golden gate bridge was hated by a lot of people.
