After the first two weeks of research, most students are focusing on interviews and obtaining an internship that will facilitate their research project. In terms of research, they have learned the 8-step process of scientific research, as well as APA citations and formatting. Over the next week, students will work in a small groups to study an epidemiology project of interest to their group. They will research the topic individually and as a group, form 3-4 subquestions, along with hypotheses and plans, and create an overarching research question. Using both powerpoint and a poster, students will present this work from question through the concept map.
