Tuesday's in-class and homework assignment:
1. Research Notebook:
In your Research Notebook, leave about a dozen pages blank. On the next page, label it "Collected and Summary Data Tables." On the page after, label it "Data Analysis and Visualization." On the Data Analysis and Visualization page, write today's date in the top right corner. Split that page in half and label each half with subtitles - Data Analysis and Data Visualization.  Under Data Analysis, list some useful stats and other measurements for data analysis. Under Data Visualization, list the expected features of a well-labled graph or other data visualization. Also list some features and uses of the different kinds of data visualization you tried in Excel or know of from elsewhere. On Wednesday, we'll finish all of the data power points and do class-shares of these notes for Data Analysis and Data Visualization. These are to support you in your independent research when you get to this stage of applied research.

2. Extend your thinking on relationships, correlation and causation:
Click here to read a little about the relationship between correlation and causation.

What can you do, in your own research, to strengthen your research for readers? Think about ways that you can use either foundational (based on reputable sources) or applied research together to build a case for which a correlation of data is one piece. Share your answer here - Block 1 or  here - Block 4
