We have a few items left on our agenda before the end of the semester.
Monday: I am out in the morning and several of you are taking the Lit EOC. Class is displaced to across the hall in 517. Please get the laptop cart from Mr. Walstead and work on your websites. You can also start thinking about your final project, which you will have class time to work on week after next and will present Monday and Tuesday of finals. You can choose almost anything interesting to you, with a few requirements. You can perform a scientific experiment, create an item that has objectives that can be measured, research a topic and/or do something of service to Wheeler Magnet. Some past examples include a video about freshmen year at Wheeler Magnet, a promo video for Wheeler Magnet, Google Doodles, etc. You could learn some basic CAD and 3D print a small medallion, research photography and display pictures that demonstrate what you've learned, create a website of summer opportunities, etc. I'll go over this on Tuesday/Wednesday (depending on whether everyone is back from EOC on Tuesday.)
What We Have Left:
1. Student Websites
2. Data work, excel, using data to answer questions, and visualizing data
3. Comparing the Scientific Method and Engineering Design Process
4. Final Independent Choice Project
