For class specific information and weekly updates, please select the appropriate class on the tabs above.  In addition to this blog, my classes also have Google Classrooms with assignments and feedback contained within the classrooms.

If you have any questions that are not answered on your class page or in Google Classroom, please feel free to email me at kate.maloney@wheelermagnet.com or kathleen.maloney@cobbk12.org.

My goal is for students to develop ascending intellectual habits:
  1. Non-imitative use of knowledge
  2. Extensive knowledge and skill
  3. Pattern recognition
  4. Efficient and meaningful organization of knowledge (concept-based units and instruction)
  5. Increased curiosity, reflection, and concentration
  6. Questioning about reasons for and uses of knowledge
  7. Formulating insights/insightful questions
  8. Assuming considerable responsibility for own learning
  9. Reflective, evaluative behavior
